José works with teams and individuals in seek of their greatest levels of development and self-realisation. He coaches and trains in Spanish and English.
After devoting more than ten years to the management of human resources departments, José María ORDOVÁS decided in 2011 to focus on his great vocation: helping people and organisations develop, to be masters of their destiny, to be proactive in building their future and to make sure that their vision is accomplished.
Until then, José held different positions as Human Resources Director, Internal Communications Director, Ethics Manager and Recruiter. Organisations José María has worked with include: Ocaso (insurance group), Bureau Veritas (inspections and certifications group), ONCE (National Organisation of the Blind), FOCSA-FCC (construction) or Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. – KPMG (consultancy). He has also been a member of the Board of the Spanish Association of Personnel Management (AEDIPE) in Madrid.
José has a Bachelor (B.A.) degree in Psychology (Universidad Autónoma, Madrid), a Master degree in Psychology at Work (Universidad Complutense, Madrid) and a Master degree in HR Management (Instituto de Empresa Business School, Madrid). He is also a Certified ACC Coach by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Co-Active Coach CPCC by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) as well as a business coach trained by Inspired on Demand, San José-CA (US).
Trained in a wide range of tools oriented to talent identification and development, like “Critical incident interview”, “ISO 10667”, “EFQM internal assessor”, “High performance teams development”, “Body and emotional techniques and resources”, “Musical theatre”, “Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)”, “Enneagram” and many others, José brings into play the best resources to ensure success for each team, each organisation, each person.
In his spare time, José loves fishing and singing. Music is his big passion, particularly choral singing. He is a member of the Chamartín Symphony Orchestra Foundation.
